What a real scalp massage does
A scalp massage is not a two-minute shampoo. At The Temple, a therapist reads your scalp by hand and light, then works the occipital ridge, temples, crown and neck with sustained pressure and warm oil. Circulation rises, the lymphatic system drains, and the jaw and shoulders let go before the hair is ever touched.
Guests come to us for tension headaches, screen-strain, product buildup, flaking, and hair that has stopped behaving. Most leave saying the same thing — they did not know how much they were holding.
Every session ends with a finishing treatment matched to your scalp: detoxifying, hydrating, or restorative. You leave with clean, dried hair and a scalp that feels ten degrees lighter.
